My Must Have Baby Items List

When I was putting together my baby registry for Noah, I had the slightest clue what products were the best for us and our lifestyle. There is tonssss of brands selling the same items and while it's nice to have options, it can also become a bit overwhelming. Needless to say, I did plenty of research and asked girlfriends who recently had a baby before making my selections. Despite all that preparation, there were products we picked out that just weren't practical and we went back to the drawing board to find something that did work for us.

In efforts to save expecting mamas some of this hassle (mamas gotta have each other's backs right?) , I've rounded up my must have baby items in this blog.

Note: these are in no particular order; they all have a special place in my heart for different reasons! The following links are affiliate links, in which I earn a small commission for referring you the products. By purchasing the products from my direct links you are helping me grow my blog.

  1. Fridababy NoseFrida® Snotsucker Nasal Aspirator - this product is my best friend when Noah gets sick. Since they don't know how to blow their noses, it's up to us to help them alleviate some of that congestion. This product gets so much snot out, but I definitely would recommend pairing it with Zarbee's Naturals Soothing Saline Nasal Mist with Aloe to help loosen everything before suctioning.

  2. Dockatot - this lounger was heaven sent. I actually saved it for whenever we decide to grow our family. It's definitely on the pricier side, but Noah slept so well on it during naps and was so happy chilling in it during the early months (before learning to turn, crawl, sit, etc). It comes in so many colors and patterns too, which is always fun!

  3. Como Tomo Bottles - I have a thing against plastic. While many baby bottle brands share that there bottles are free of any toxins, I just didn't feel comfortable using them. My rationale is, if I don't use plastic food containers, my baby isn't drinking out of a plastic bottle. Glass bottles, though, are pretty heavy when filled with milk and would be a headache and a half to clean up the mess if you accidently dropped it. The Como Tomo bottles though are lightweight and made out of silicone. I also like that the neck of the bottle was wide, making it easy to clean with a brush. Noah also took to the bottle's nipple well, even though he was a breastfed baby for 6 months.

  4. Ergobaby Omni 360 All Carry Positions Ergonomic Baby Carrier - Noah has loved this carrier since he was a newborn. Whenever he was unsettled, we'd place him in the carrier and he would feel so secure that he would relax and fall asleep. I also love that this is one of the few products that grow with your baby from newborn to toddler, so although it's pricey you definitely get bang for your buck.

  5. Silicone Bibs - these are so easy to clean after a meal, and trust me, you'll want easy!

  6. Angelcare Baby Bath Support - this was SUCH a game changer at bath time. We first had a baby tub, but it was so big and impractical. I stumbled upon this one at target and we absolutely loved it! I couldn't believe how affordable it was too. We paired it with this sponge when he was 0-3 months, which was great for keeping him warm and comfortable in the bath.

  7. Graco Pack 'n Play Change 'n Carry Playard - If you plan to travel with your baby, a pack and play is a safe space for your baby to sleep in. We initially bought it for a mini getaway, but he's napped in it everyday since he was 6 months old and being taken care of at my MIL's. It's also been great for keeping Noah contained in a safe space once he became mobile and I needed to multitask around the house.

  8. ezpz Mini Feeding Set - We love this set so much because it has different sections for different food groups and the spoon and fork are the perfect size for training your baby to become an independent feeder.

  9. Fridababy 3-in-1 Humidifier with Diffuser and Nightlight - Another great product to have when your baby falls sick. We run it throughout the night in Noah's room when he's congested to help him sleep better at night.

  10. HALO BassiNest Swivel Sleeper - I used this bassinet until Noah grew out of it (about 4 months old). I loved how little space it took up and how I can position it right up against our bed; it made night feedings so much easier.

  11. Baby Brezza One-Step Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer - you can skip this product if you have a dishwasher. If you don't though, this product is amazing! After you wash your bottles just add them in the sterilizer (along with pacifiers and other baby items you need to sanitize) and run the mode which both sterilizes and dries. This way, when it's done, they're ready to use or store!

  12. Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Portable Travel Baby Bottle Warmer - hopefully your baby isn't as picky as mine was about needing warm milk, but if that happens to be your case and you know you'll be out and about with the baby then this product will save you the tears (both yours and the babies lol)!

  13. Baby Sleep Sack - once your baby has begun rolling over and swaddling no longer becomes an option, this is a safe sleep alternative that works great! It helps keep Noah warm at night when the house feels extra cool.

I hope this list was helpful to you! If you have any questions or want to know more about anything, feel free to reach out to me on Instagram. Can’t wait to connect with you all.
